Event 2 the $200+$30 Deeper Stack NLH drew a total of 139 entries and when the dust settled Everton Taylor was the last man standing. He was able to build a stack early and his aggressive style paid dividends here tonight.
When the final table was reached there were whispers about an adjusted payout deal but Taylor would have no parts of it. “I’m not making a deal” he persisted and he stuck to his guns.

Taylor chipped away at his opponents at the final table before eliminating Edan Sucov in 5th place. He never looked back from there and would come into heads up play with nearly a 5-1 chip advantage.
Heads up play lasted just one hand and Taylor was the winner earning $8,605 and his first Deepstacks Challenge trophy. This is Taylor’s first major title and brings his career earnings to the $60,000 mark.
